Lacoste-Borie is the second wine of the acclaimed Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, one of the most respected estates in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, France. This Left Bank Bordeaux red blend is crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc — varietals that define the structured, age-worthy style of Médoc wines. The wine is sourced from younger vines on the estate and offers an accessible expression of the Grand-Puy-Lacoste terroir.
In the glass, the wine shows a deep garnet-purple color with aromas of baked plums, stewed cherries, cassis, and milk chocolate, accented by earthy and herbal notes. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with firm, chewy tannins, a solid fruit core, and an herbal lift on the finish. With 14.5% alcohol by volume, it is a generous and structured wine that rewards both near-term enjoyment and short-term cellaring.
Pauillac is one of Bordeaux's most prestigious appellations, home to three of the five First Growth estates. Wines from this region are known for their power, structure, and classic Cabernet Sauvignon character. Lacoste-Borie offers an approachable entry point to this world-class terroir, making it ideal for wine lovers seeking quality Bordeaux at a strong value. Each bottle is 750ML; cases are sold as 12 bottles.
