Patent Wines Cabernet Sauvignon from the Oak Knoll District AVA of Napa Valley. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted by renowned winemaker Tom Rinaldi, founding winemaker of Duckhorn Vineyards (1978–2000), and wine industry veteran Eric Risch. The grapes are sourced from select vineyards in St. Helena and the Oak Knoll District.

The wine is aged for 22 months in 75% new French oak barrels that are extra-fine, three-year air-dried with medium-plus and high-toast profiles. Production is limited to approximately 550 cases. It is well-structured with integrated fruit flavors of cassis, blackberry, cranberry, mulberry, and cherries, complemented by hints of mint, roasted spices, espresso, and toasted oak, with moderate tannins and notes of vanilla and licorice.
