Xuri preserved duck eggs are a traditional Chinese delicacy dating back to the Ming Dynasty. These century eggs are duck eggs preserved in a mixture of salt, clay, and wood ash over several weeks, resulting in a distinctive appearance with dark translucent egg whites and creamy grayish-green yolks.
