Bons Mas is a red blend from the prestigious Priorat DOCa wine region of Catalonia, Spain. The name derives from Catalan, meaning "Nice Chateau," a tribute to the historic mas estate tradition of the region. The wine is crafted from Garnacha (Grenache) and Mazuela (Carignan) grapes grown on terraced vineyards at 625 meters above sea level, where each vine yields less than 2 kilograms of fruit on the region's iconic licorella (schist slate) soils — the geological foundation that gives Priorat its singular mineral character.

Winemaking follows traditional methods, with fermentation and maceration carried out in concrete vats using autochthonous (native) yeasts under controlled temperatures. Sulfite levels are kept below 50 mg/L. The wine presents a seductive ruby color with purple reflections. On the nose, spiced cherry compote and red berry aromas are lifted by zesty mineral and cracked pepper notes, alongside hints of licorice and dark chocolate. The palate is long and fresh, with silky tannins that echo the lively fruit and expressive minerality emblematic of Priorat wines.

This wine has earned scores of 91–92 points from Wine Enthusiast and 90 points from James Suckling across multiple vintages. It pairs beautifully with lamb chops, Iberian ham, duck, venison, beef, Asian cuisine, oily fish, and chocolate desserts.
