Château Margaux 2021 is a Premier Grand Cru Classé (First Growth) Bordeaux from the legendary Margaux appellation. This vintage blends 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot, aged in 100% new French oak at 13.1% ABV. Only 36% of the harvest was selected for the Grand Vin, reflecting the estate's exacting standards even in a challenging growing season.

Deep garnet in color, the wine opens with aromas of blackcurrants, lilacs, lead pencil, licorice, fresh basil, and tobacco leaf with hints of cedar. On the palate, it delivers medium to full-bodied richness with ultra-fine, creamy tannins and exceptional balance. Bright cherry, strawberry, and raspberry acidity provides lift and vibrancy, while a stony minerality and sour cherry note carry through a long, refined finish.

Critically acclaimed across the board, the 2021 received 98 points from James Suckling, 97 from Decanter, 96+ from Jeb Dunnuck, 96 from both Antonio Galloni and Neal Martin at Vinous, and 95 from Jane Anson.
