Chilean Sea Bass (Patagonian Toothfish) is a premium deep-water fish prized for its exceptionally rich, buttery flavor and tender, flaky texture. This Kirkland Signature wild-caught Chilean Sea Bass is sourced from sustainable fisheries certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and sold per pound from the seafood counter. The fish is previously frozen to preserve peak freshness before being thawed and made available fresh.
Wild-caught and hand-trimmed, this boneless and skinless fish delivers a restaurant-quality eating experience at home. Its naturally high fat content keeps the fish exceptionally moist and flavorful through virtually any cooking method, including baking, pan-searing, grilling, or broiling. The delicate buttery taste pairs beautifully with light sauces, citrus, capers, and fresh herbs.
Thaw under refrigeration before preparation. Previously frozen seafood, when properly handled, maintains the same quality and flavor as fresh-never-frozen fish.
