The Hoka Clifton 9 is the ninth iteration of the award-winning Clifton franchise, designed for everyday running and walking. This lightweight running shoe features a breathable engineered knit upper with a gusseted tongue for superior comfort and fit. The shoe has been redesigned to be lighter while adding 3mm in stack height, delivering enhanced cushioning with a revitalized underfoot experience.

The Clifton 9 incorporates a compression molded EVA foam midsole with an early stage Meta-Rocker for smoother heel-to-toe transitions. The inherently stable geometry provides moderate support for neutral gaits, while the Durabrasion rubber outsole extends the shoe's longevity. The upper features a plusher heel with reflective heel panel for visibility and a streamlined tongue with single side medial gusset to prevent tongue migration.

Weighing just 8.7 ounces with a 5mm heel-to-toe drop, the Clifton 9 is perfect for everyday training on roads and paved trails. The shoe is vegan and constructed with sustainable materials including 35% recycled polyester upper mesh, 60% recycled polyester collar and tongue lining, 87% recycled polyester strobel board, and 100% recycled polyester sockliner top cloth. The laces are made with 70% recycled nylon and 30% recycled polyester. Available in Black and Gray (Harbor Mist) colors in whole sizes 9-13 and half sizes 8.5-10.5.
