Dolum Estates California Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium red wine crafted by winemaker Chad Alexander, whose philosophy emphasizes extreme attention to vineyard detail — from soil composition to planting structure — to produce wines that rival the best in the world. After 30 years of winemaking experience, including time as head winemaker at Robert Craig, Alexander founded Dolum Estates to create elegant, place-driven California reds. Fruit is sourced from small sub-districts across select areas of Napa Valley and Sonoma County, combining the rich, full-bodied character of Napa Cabernet with the vibrant, fruity notes of Sonoma.

The wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in a combination of new and used oak barrels to achieve balance between power and elegance. It opens with an inviting bouquet of black cherry, cedar, cola, vanilla, and licorice — classic Cabernet from start to finish. On the palate, it is smooth, rich, and full-bodied with juicy dark fruit, well-integrated tannins, and layered complexity. The finish is long and satisfying with lingering notes of dark berries and spice. Alcohol is 14.5%. The wine received 94 points from Decanter magazine.
