Bodegas Carchelo Altico is a monovarietal Syrah red wine from the Jumilla Denominación de Origen Protegida (DOP) in the southeastern Murcia region of Spain. It is produced by Bodegas Carchelo, a three-generation family winery founded in 1990, situated at the foot of the Sierra del Carche mountains.

The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by a minimum of 12 months of bottle aging. It presents a bright, intense ruby color with a garnet meniscus, and is characterized by aromas of wild berries and violet flowers with a subtle spiced and toasted background — hallmark expressions of the Syrah variety at altitude.

On the palate, the Altico is broad and full, delivering a refreshing, silky texture with pleasant acidity. The balance between ripe fruit character and fine, polished tannins leads to a long, persistent finish. It is well suited to pairing with grilled meats, game, and aged cheeses.
