Handpicked Wines Regional Selections McLaren Vale Shiraz is a bold, organically-farmed red wine from McLaren Vale, South Australia. NASAA Certified Organic, it is made from select hand-harvested Shiraz grapes grown in the birthplace of South Australian wine — a Mediterranean-climate region with diverse soils and over 7,500 hectares under vine, known as Australia's leader in certified organic viticulture.

The wine offers an effortless opulence on the nose and palate, with an abundance of rich and vibrant black and blue fruits. Layers of blackberry pip, raspberry, licorice, star anise, and black cherry are underpinned by chocolate, fine oak, and beautifully integrated tannins. On the palate it is texturally silky, plush, and long. The fruit was destemmed and fermented in static tanks with regular pump-overs, then matured for 12 months in a mix of old and new French oak barrels.

At 14.8% alcohol, it pairs beautifully with beef casserole, pepper steak, spicy meat dishes, and lamb hotpot. Best served between 13°C and 18°C. Contains sulfites.
