Redwood Empire Screaming Titan is a small lot wheated bourbon whiskey crafted in Sonoma County, California. Named after a majestic coastal redwood tree standing over 323 feet tall in the Grove of Titans, the name honors naturalist Michael W. Taylor, who screamed when he first spotted the towering trees in the late 1990s.

This bourbon is aged at least 5 years in new charred American oak barrels and bottled at 48% ABV (96 proof). The mash bill consists of 59% corn, 30% wheat, 7% rye, and 4% malted barley. The high wheat content delivers a softer, creamier bourbon profile compared to traditional high-rye recipes.

On the nose, expect nectarine, sweet tea, and apple blossoms. The palate offers honeycomb, flaky pastry, and peaches and cream with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. The finish is medium length with lingering sweetness and subtle spice. It pairs well with grilled peaches, roasted chicken, and desserts like peach cobbler or vanilla custard.
