Patient Cottat Le Grand Caillou is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley region of France, bottled at 750ml with 12% ABV. The wine is produced by the Fournier family and named in honor of Patient Cottat, a celebrated Master Goldsmith from mid-19th century France who was renowned for championing the great Sauvignon Blancs of the Loire Valley.

Sourced from grapes cultivated across the rolling hills of the Loire Valley from east to west, as well as the Poitou and Vendée regions, the wine presents a light lemon yellow color. The nose offers soft, subtle aromas of lime and cantaloupe with a whiff of minerality. The palate delivers greengage plum, kiwi, and citrus flavors with vibrant acidity and an interesting mineral backbone. Dry and refreshing, it finishes with bright citrus notes. Awarded 90 points by James Suckling, who called it "zingy, fresh and crisp... dry, mouthwatering and delicious, with limey citrus in the finish."
