Planeta La Segreta Bianco is an iconic Sicilian white wine under the Sicilia DOC designation, produced from family-owned vineyards in Menfi and Sambuca di Sicilia. The blend is composed of 40% Grecanico, 20% Chardonnay, 20% Grillo, and 20% other varieties, fermented in stainless steel to preserve vibrancy and freshness. Produced since its first vintage in 1995, this wine has become one of Sicily's most celebrated whites and is available at Costco as a case of 12 bottles.

The wine's name pays homage to the ancient woods surrounding the Planeta family's Ulmo vineyards, where 17 generations of agriculture have taken place since the 1500s. Vineyards span three estates — Dispensa, Gurra, and Ulmo — at altitudes ranging from 45 to 210 metres above sea level, trained using espalier with spurred cordon and Guyot pruning. Cultivation follows certified organic and the SOStain sustainability protocol, using cover crops, beneficial insects, and minimal copper and sulfur treatments.

In the glass it pours pale yellow with beautiful sea-green reflections. The nose opens with aromas of white peach, not-too-ripe apricot, Sicilian citrus, white melon, tropical fruit, chestnut honey, and freshly cut hay. On the palate it delivers fresh acidity, excellent persistence, and a slim, balanced texture with recurring notes of fruit and salinity.
