2XO French Oak is the second release in the Oak Series of limited-edition, small-batch blended Kentucky straight bourbon whiskeys, crafted by master blender Dixon Dedman, known for his work with Kentucky Owl. This expression uses an innovative double oak technique, inserting chains of charred French oak into barrels filled with a moderate rye bourbon mash bill of 18%, imparting additional complexity and depth.

On the nose, expect vanilla, caramel, cherry, and rose. The palate moves from sweet, rich caramel on the front to savory notes of roasted nuts, coffee, and cinnamon in the middle, finishing with a mild, lingering peppery spice. At 92 proof (46% ABV), it is approachable enough for cocktails yet complex enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks.
