Purple Hands Winery's Haakon/Lenai Vineyard Pinot Noir is a single-vineyard wine sourced from a 35-acre estate in the Dundee Hills AVA of Willamette Valley, Oregon. The vineyard was originally planted in 1998 and acquired by Purple Hands in 2019, renamed after the children of founders Cody and Marque Wright. The site sits at 400–700 feet elevation on southeast-facing slopes with 100% Jory volcanic soil and is certified organic.

The 2022 vintage was aged 10 months in 30% new French oak, drawing from vines approximately 27 years old at harvest. The wine offers a dark and complex fruit profile of wild black raspberries, cassis, and boysenberry, layered with red rope, coriander, dried sage, licorice, toasted cedar, and umami. On the palate it shows crystalline depth, bright ripe acidity, mouthwatering freshness, and well-framed ripe tannins leading to a long finish. The 2022 vintage received 98 points from Jeb Dunnuck.

Purple Hands Winery was founded in 2005 by Cody Wright, whose "purple hands" name evokes the harvest tradition of hands stained from long days and nights picking fruit.
