Parcelas de Familia is a Mediterranean red blend from the Valencia DO appellation in Spain, crafted by Vicente Cambra of El Angosto winery in collaboration with Eva Lopez. The Cambra family has cultivated vines in the Valencia region since 1905, and this joint venture began in 2006 with the goal of bringing wines from the best family vineyard parcels to market.

The blend is built from classic Mediterranean varieties — Bobal, Garnacha, and Syrah — grown on old, unirrigated vines that yield less than 2.2 pounds of fruit per plant. This low-yield viticulture produces concentrated yet clean black-fruit flavors with remarkable depth and balance.

Vinified in stainless steel vats at 24°C using native yeyard yeasts with a 20-day maceration, the wine is then aged for 12 months in 500-liter French Allier oak barrels (10 months on the lees). The result is a full-bodied, modern Mediterranean red with aromas of boysenberry and violet petals. On the palate, flavors of ultraripe black fruits, blueberry, and herbs lead to a long, moderately spicy and herbal finish. Pairs beautifully with paella, lamb, game meats, duck confit, spicy meats, and cured cheeses.
