New Riff 8 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is an aged expression from New Riff Distilling, founded in 2014 by Ken Lewis in Newport, Kentucky, just across the river from Cincinnati. This 750ml bottle is available with a limit of one per Costco member, sold in cases of six.

Bottled without chill filtration at 100 proof (50% ABV), this bourbon features a high-rye mashbill of 65% corn, 30% rye, and 5% malted barley. Eight years of barrel aging elevates New Riff's flagship bourbon profile with added complexity—oaky depth balanced by a mellow, buttery finish.

On the nose, expect rich vanilla custard, caramel, apricot, peach, and charred oak with a hint of bubble gum. The palate opens with caramel, raspberry, and blackberry alongside aged oak that showcases the bourbon's maturity. The finish lingers with black cherry, brown sugar, leather, cinnamon, rye spice, and seasoned oak.
