Domaine de Chevalier Rouge 2021 is a Grand Cru Classé de Graves red wine from the prestigious Pessac-Léognan appellation in Bordeaux, France. The 2021 vintage is a landmark release — the first produced under 100% certified biodynamic farming — and earned 95 points from The Wine Cellar Insider for its medium-bodied, energetic, and refined character. The blend is composed of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, and 5% Cabernet Franc sourced from 58 hectares of vines averaging 30 years of age, planted in gravel soils over clay and hardpan.

The estate has been managed by the Bernard family since 1983 under the direction of Olivier Bernard. Winemaking involves parcel-by-parcel vinification in a combination of oak vats, stainless steel, and cement tanks, with 100% malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels. The wine is then aged on its lees in 40–60% new French oak for 18 to 22 months before bottling, sealed with Diam corks.

Serve at 15.5°C (60°F) and decant young vintages for 2–3 hours to allow the wine to open. Best paired with classic meat dishes including beef, lamb, duck, and game, as well as braised and roasted preparations. The wine is built to age 10–30 years from the vintage.
