Hahn Family Wines Appellation Series GSM is a red blend from the Arroyo Seco AVA in Monterey County, California. The wine is crafted from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre — the classic Rhône-style blend — and reflects the cool-climate character of one of California's longest growing seasons.
The wine opens with aromas of lavender and white pepper alongside layers of cherry, blackberry, and blueberry. On the palate, tart berry flavors are complemented by a subtle ribbon of warm spice, a velvety mouthfeel, and a long, lingering finish.
Grapes are destemmed into stainless steel tanks for fermentation, pumped over several times daily to extract color and aromatics, then aged with oak after pressing. It pairs well with lamb, Mediterranean dishes, sesame chicken, and falafel.
