Jeptha Creed Bottled in Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a craft Kentucky bourbon from Jeptha Creed Distillery, a small family-owned operation located in Shelby County, Kentucky, between Lexington and Louisville. The distillery is owned and operated by mother-daughter duo Joyce and Autumn Nethery, who farm 64 acres and grow their own heirloom Bloody Butcher Red Corn used in every expression they produce.
This bourbon is made with a distinctive mash bill of 75% Bloody Butcher Red Corn, 20% malted rye, and 5% malted barley. The use of heirloom Bloody Butcher corn — a lower-yield variety that is more costly to cultivate than conventional yellow corn — sets Jeptha Creed apart in the Kentucky bourbon landscape. As a Bottled in Bond (BIB) expression, this whiskey adheres to strict federal standards: distilled in a single season by a single distiller, aged at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at exactly 100 proof (50% ABV) with no additives. Each case contains six 750ml bottles.
