Bushmills 10 Year Private Reserve Bordeaux Cask is a small batch single malt Irish whiskey from the Old Bushmills Distillery in County Antrim, Ireland — the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery. This 2012 Vintage expression is part of the exclusive Private Reserve Collection, hand selected for its unique cask finishing journey.

The whiskey is first matured in American oak bourbon barrels from Kelvin Cooperage and Spanish oak oloroso sherry butts from Antonio Páez Lobato cooperage for a total of 6 years. It then finishes for a minimum of 4 years in first fill Pomerol Bordeaux chateau casks made from French oak, imparting subtle notes of red fruit and spice. Bottled at 46.5% ABV (93 Proof).

On the nose, expect a rich interplay of roasted wood, red currants, and ripe raspberries. The palate is mellow and well-rounded, unfolding with crisp green apple, lemon, and vanilla, followed by nutmeg and ginger. The finish is long and dry with lemon peel and a glowing spiciness.
