Kirkland Signature Extra Añejo Tequila is a premium 100% Blue Agave spirit crafted in Jalisco, Mexico at NOM 1173 (Corporativo Destileria Santa Lucia). This Extra Añejo designation indicates extended aging of at least three years in oak barrels, resulting in an exceptionally smooth and refined tequila with deep complexity.
The tequila is aged in a combination of American and French oak barrels, which impart rich notes of cooked agave, oak, vanilla, caramel, and citrus with hints of black pepper. The extended aging process produces a darker amber color and a sophisticated flavor profile with remarkable depth and a smooth, medium-long finish. The 1-liter bottle offers excellent value for a tequila of this quality.
