Giorgio Primo is a flagship Super Tuscan red wine produced by Fattoria La Massa, a family-owned estate in Panzano, in the heart of Chianti Classico, Tuscany. The wine is classified as Toscana IGT and blends 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot, a nod to the great Bordeaux tradition transplanted into Tuscan terroir. The name is a tribute from owner Giampaolo Motta to his grandfather Giorgio.

Vineyards are situated on the "Golden Shell" of Panzano at approximately 360 meters altitude, with south-facing exposure. Maceration lasts 26 to 28 days to build depth, structure, and a velvety texture. The result is a full-bodied wine with aromas of black currant, blackberry, crushed stone, truffle, toasted spice, and walnut. On the palate it shows firm, chewy tannins with hints of dark chocolate and spice, backed by fresh acidity and excellent aging potential.

Giorgio Primo has earned exceptional critical acclaim, including a 97-point score from Wine Advocate and a Top 100 ranking from Wine Spectator. It can be cellared and enjoyed for a decade or more from vintage.
