Collefrisio Primitivo di Manduria is a bold, full-bodied Italian red wine crafted from 100% Primitivo di Manduria grapes grown in the Salento region of Puglia, southern Italy. Primitivo di Manduria holds a rich history in Italian viticulture, and the grape is closely related to California's beloved Zinfandel, having traveled across the Atlantic to become one of the most celebrated New World varieties.

The grapes are harvested between late August and early September, then undergo long maceration in stainless steel tanks with temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve freshness and varietal character. The wine then spends 12 months aging in French oak barriques, adding depth and complexity to its naturally generous fruit profile.

In the glass, it presents an intense ruby red color with bright violet hues. The nose is expressive and aromatic, offering a bouquet of ripe blackberries, blueberries, plum, and a hint of dark cocoa. On the palate, the wine is rich, fruity, and full-bodied with impressive structure and a long, satisfying finish. It pairs beautifully with grilled and roasted meats, charcuterie and cured meats, and aged cheeses.
