Lindquist Family Wines Bien Nacido Vineyard Chardonnay is a single-vineyard white wine from the Santa Maria Valley appellation on California's Central Coast. The blend is composed of 92% Chardonnay sourced from the iconic Bien Nacido Vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley, 5% Chardonnay from the Reeves Vineyard in the Edna Valley, and 3% Viognier from Bien Nacido. Alcohol by volume is 13.5%. The wine is sealed under a Stelvin screw cap for easy access and immediate enjoyment.

Crafted by winemaker Bob Lindquist, the grapes were whole-cluster pressed, chilled overnight, and racked directly to barrel for fermentation. Aging takes place for nine months on the lees in a combination of approximately 25% new Francois Freres French Burgundy barrels, 25% two-year-old barrels, and neutral barrels, undergoing complete malolactic fermentation. The result is a full-bodied, mineral-driven Chardonnay with aromas of lemon peel, apple, pear, and subtle tropical notes, a well-integrated oak profile, and bright natural acidity.

The wine has received critical acclaim, earning 92-93 points from Antonio Galloni of Vinous and 92 points from The Wine Advocate, both praising its saline energy, taut acidity, and classic Central Coast character.
