Glenmorangie A Tale of Ice Cream is a limited edition Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% ABV and non chill-filtered to preserve its full body and character. It is the fifth release in Glenmorangie's award-winning A Tale Of… series, created by Dr. Bill Lumsden, Director of Whisky Creation, and Master Blender Gillian Macdonald.

The whisky unites single malt aged in bourbon casks with Glenmorangie's first whisky finished in specially toasted high-vanillin casks. These new oak casks were prepared to amplify vanilla qualities naturally derived entirely from the wood, with no vanilla extract added. The result is a densely layered spirit evoking the flavors of a classic ice cream parlour.

On the nose, expect a burst of manuka honey, lemon-flavoured butter candy, baking raisin bread, candied orange peel, peaches, toffee, and a hint of spice. The palate is thick, rich, and creamy, delivering brioche, almond marzipan, honeycomb, fudge, lemon sherbet, desiccated coconut, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and clove. The finish is long and lingering, with toffee apple, sweet popcorn, and a note of aniseed. The bottle is presented in a pastel-toned box evoking the swirls and toppings of a luxurious ice cream parlour.
