Traveller Blend No. 40 is a collaborative American whiskey created by award-winning musician Chris Stapleton and Buffalo Trace Distillery master blender Jackie Zykan. This small batch release is a carefully curated blend of straight whiskeys sourced from Kentucky and Tennessee, bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV). After sampling more than 50 blends, Blend No. 40 was selected as the finest combination, offering a balance of approachability and layered complexity.

The whiskey features a nose of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and dried fruit. On the palate, it delivers warm honey, ripe orchard fruit, baking spice, and a touch of leather. The finish is smooth and lingering with sweet oak and gentle spice. Designed to appeal to both whiskey newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts, it can be enjoyed neat, with a splash of water to open the spice and fruit notes, or in classic whiskey cocktails like an Old Fashioned or Manhattan.
