A rich, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from Ty Caton Vineyards, sourced exclusively from the estate's Caton Vineyard in the Moon Mountain District of Sonoma Valley. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is sustainably farmed on steep hillside terrain in the Mayacamas Mountains, where the warmer inland climate and rocky, undulating slopes contribute to the wine's intensity and concentration. Ty Caton planted the vineyard in 2000, more than a decade before Moon Mountain earned its own official AVA designation in 2013, establishing the Caton family as true pioneers of this prestigious appellation.

The wine presents a deep purple color with aromas of sun-ripened blackberries, cassis, and dark cherries, layered with earthy graphite, fresh bay leaf, and smoky espresso. On the palate, rich flavors of black plum and crushed blackcurrant are complemented by a dusting of cocoa powder, hints of cedar, and toasted spice. Robust tannins provide a firm backbone, while mountain minerality lingers on the finish alongside notes of dried sage and bittersweet chocolate. Drink now through 2035.

A true family winery and passion project, Ty Caton farms sustainably and crafts the wines himself. The wine contains 14.5% alcohol by volume and is sold in cases of 12 bottles (750 mL each).
