Raeburn Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied red wine from California's renowned Sonoma County, crafted by Raeburn Winery located on Olivet Road in the heart of the Russian River Valley. The winery's name derives from the Old English phrase meaning "the river where one goes to drink," reflecting the winery's deep connection to its riverside terroir.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich blend of approximately 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9.5% Petit Verdot, and 9.5% Syrah. The nose presents layers of purple and blue fruit with notes of blueberries, violets, and bramble berries. On the palate, it is full-bodied with finely tuned tannins and focused acidity, delivering flavors of dark cherries, cocoa, coffee beans, and baking spices. The wine features expressive fruit, fine tannins, and a muscular mid-palate with layered notes of plum, dark cherry, and vanilla.
This wine pairs well with beef, lamb, and hard cheeses. It is bottled at 14% ABV and sold in 750ml bottles, available in cases of 12.
