Terroir Expressions Hostage is a premium single-vineyard Malbec sourced from Argentina's celebrated Uco Valley in Mendoza, crafted by renowned winemaker Marcelo Pelleriti — one of the few South American winemakers to have earned a perfect score from Robert Parker. The wine expresses the distinctive terroir of its high-altitude vineyard, where abundant sunlight and cool nights concentrate flavors while preserving natural acidity.

This deep purple Malbec opens with an inviting nose of black cherry, dark plum, wild violet, and blueberry, accented by notes of cracked pepper, fresh herbs, wet gravel, and a subtle mineral quality. On the palate, it delivers layers of lush cassis, blackberry, and dark fruit with hints of chocolate, vanilla, and licorice, supported by rounded, textured tannins and a long, elegant finish. Grapes are handpicked and fermented in stainless steel before aging 12 months in oak barrel followed by 12 months in bottle, allowing the wine to develop full complexity and harmony.
