Maker's Mark Greats of the Gate is a limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky released annually in partnership with Keeneland Race Course, celebrating iconic Thoroughbred racehorses. This Costco offering includes six 1-liter bottles of the commemorative expression, with a limit of one per member. The bourbon is bottled at 90 proof and features Maker's Mark's signature hand-dipped red wax seal.

The Greats of the Gate series is part of a 10-year collection, with each annual release honoring a legendary horse in Thoroughbred racing history. The 2025 edition features Lexington, the celebrated 19th-century racehorse and namesake of Lexington, Kentucky, brought to life by Kentucky artist Tyler Robertson. The inaugural 2024 release honored Man o' War. Proceeds from each bottle benefit Kentucky nonprofits supporting culture, the arts, hunger relief, and the horseracing community, with Keeneland and Maker's Mark committed to raising $4 million over the course of the series.

On the nose, this bourbon delivers sweet oak, vanilla, bright fruit, and wheat. The palate is sweet with a well-balanced presence of oak, vanilla, and fruity essences, finishing smooth and creamy with pleasant soft spice and a clean close.
