Cimarrón Reposado Tequila is crafted at Atotonilco in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, where hillside agave is grown at 4,620 feet elevation. The high altitude allows the agave plant sugars to reach an average of 24–26° Brix, contributing to a bright, naturally forward flavor profile.

Production begins with a low-pressure, slow roasting of the agave, preserving aromatic complexity. Fermentation is entirely natural using winemakers' yeast rather than commercial yeasts. The resulting spirit is then aged for 4 months in American white oak barrels to produce the reposado expression, imparting light wood character while maintaining agave-forward freshness. The bottling is 40% ABV (80 proof).
