Los Siete Misterios is an artisanal mezcal brand founded in 2010 by brothers Julio and Eduardo Mestre, rooted in the traditions of Oaxaca, Mexico. The brand works alongside Maestros Mezcaleros and Oaxacan communities to produce handcrafted mezcal that honors generations of Mexican distilling heritage.

Every bottle begins with mature agave plants harvested at peak sugar content. The agave piñas are slow-roasted for three to five days in traditional underground earth ovens lined with river stones and fueled by local wood, imparting the signature smoky complexity mezcal is known for. Milling is performed either by hand-carved wooden mallet or horse-drawn tahona. Fermentation takes place in open wooden vats using wild ambient yeast and pure spring water — no additives, no shortcuts. The distillate is then double distilled in either copper pot or clay pot stills, depending on the expression.
