Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old is an unpeated Islay single malt Scotch whisky distilled at the Bunnahabhain distillery on the shores of the Sound of Islay in Scotland. Bottled at 46.3% ABV (92.6 proof) and non-chill filtered, it stands apart from most Islay expressions by emphasizing balance and elegance over smoke.

Matured for a minimum of twelve years in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and whisky refill casks, the whisky develops a rich, layered character. The nose offers sherry, roasted nuts, and a gentle sea breeze with hints of toffee, dried fruit, and warm spice. On the palate, creamy malt and sherry sweetness are balanced by vanilla, roasted nuts, and a subtle coastal brine. The finish is long and satisfying with lingering warmth.

This expression is the benchmark of the Bunnahabhain range and has earned a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2020. Sold in a 750ML bottle.
