Mettler Family Vineyards is a multi-generational family winery rooted in Lodi, California, with over 100 years of grape-growing history in the appellation. The family released their inaugural Cabernet Sauvignon in 2001 to critical acclaim, and today all family members play an integral role in farming the original estate vineyards with a commitment to quality that has earned two Agricultural Hall of Fame recipients across generations.

This estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied with a deep, dark ruby color and inviting aromas of black cherry, black currant, and plum accented by vanilla and nutmeg. On the palate it delivers ripe, jammy dark fruit flavors characteristic of Lodi reds, with well-balanced tannins and a long, lingering finish. Notes of spice, a hint of tar, and anise add complexity.
