Utopihen Pasture Raised Duck Eggs are sourced from Khaki Campbell ducks that enjoy 110 square feet of grassy pasture per bird, with daily foraging and sunshine. These ducks are fed only non-GMO feed, making the eggs non-GMO as well. Duck eggs are larger than chicken eggs with proportionally bigger yolks, making them ideal for baking and providing extra protein. They contain 7 to 9 grams of protein per egg, more omega-3 fatty acids (100mg compared to 37mg in chicken eggs), and all eight essential amino acids. Duck egg whites have more protein than chicken eggs, which helps them whip up higher for baking. The eggs taste similar to chicken eggs but richer and creamier, with harder shells that provide longer shelf life and less breakage.
Nutrition per serving (1 egg, 56g): 130 calories, 9g protein, 1g carbohydrates, 9g total fat (3g saturated fat). The product is Grade A, contains 12 eggs in mixed sizes, and is distributed by Hatfield Egg Farm, Inc. in New Holland, PA. Net weight: 30oz+ (1 lb. 14oz+) / 851g.
