Dark Arts Whiskey House "Sherry Garcia" is a small-batch, limited-release straight bourbon whiskey aged 7.5 years and finished in Oloroso Sherry wine casks before being bottled at cask strength. Originally distilled in Indiana from a high-rye mash bill of 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley, the bourbon is re-casked in ex-Oloroso Sherry butts to develop its signature character, then blended and bottled in Lexington, Kentucky without chill filtration.

The Oloroso Sherry cask finish imparts a striking depth of dried fruits and nutty complexity. The nose delivers rich aromas of raisins and figs intertwined with deep, nutty Oloroso sherry notes, accented by toasted oak, dark chocolate, orange zest, and baking spice. On the palate, lush caramel and vanilla merge with complex nuttiness and dried fruit, revealing mid-palate layers of cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted oak, and dark cocoa. The finish is long and viscous, with lingering sherry sweetness, oak spice, and a gentle warming heat.
