Pepe Mendoza Fierroca is a single-varietal red wine from the DO Alicante appellation in southeastern Spain, produced by Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola, based in the village of Líber in the Marina Alta highlands. The wine is made exclusively from Giro, a rare indigenous Mediterranean grape variety grown in ancient terraced vineyards at high altitude.

The name "Fierroca" is derived from "fierro" (iron) and "roca" (rock), a direct reference to the iron-rich rocky soils of three distinct microplots within the Finca de Abargues estate where the Giro vines are cultivated. The elevated altitude imparts strength and complexity to the wine, producing pronounced Mediterranean aromatics including rosemary, lavender, and eucalyptus, underpinned by a firm tannin structure that gives the wine excellent aging potential.

Pepe Mendoza is one of the most respected winemakers in southeastern Spain, farming organically and by hand with a focus on native varieties and traditional techniques with roots going back to Roman times. The wine carries 14.0% ABV and is bottled at 750ml.
