Gérard Bertrand Domaine de Villemajou is a distinguished red blend from the AOP Corbières-Boutenac appellation in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. Crafted from a blend of old-vine Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre grown on unique soils of rolled pebbles, limestone, and clay, the grapes are hand-harvested to ensure optimal quality.

The wine is aged for 10 to 12 months in 225-liter Bordeaux oak barrels. It presents a deep garnet color with an aromatic profile of jammy blackberry, sweet spices, leather, and roasted coffee. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet refined, with fine-grained tannins framing notes of black fruit, clove, and licorice that lead to a long, spicy finish. The alcohol content is 15% ABV.

The Villemajou estate has been part of the Gérard Bertrand family legacy since 1970, and the wines reflect decades of expertise in biodynamic and sustainable viticulture in southern France.
