Turriff 15 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky independently bottled by Alexander Murray & Co., a California-based merchant and independent bottler known for sourcing exceptional expressions from Scotland's finest distilleries. "Turriff" is a pseudonym for this expression, which originates from a distillery in the southern part of the Highland region, situated on the banks of the River Teith.

Distilled in 2006 and aged 15 years, this whisky is the product of a slow fermentation and distillation process that results in a full-bodied character sometimes described as waxy and oily. The spirit was matured in refill bourbon hogsheads and is bottled unpeated at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle.

On the nose, nuts and marzipan lead the way, with honey, soft vanilla, and toasted oak emerging on the palate. It is a rich, full-bodied dram well-suited for a celebratory toast or a quiet evening by the fire.
