Podere Giodo La Quinta Rosso Toscana IGT is a 100% Sangiovese wine produced from the fifth vineyard planted by renowned Italian enologist Carlo Ferrini at Podere Giodo in Montalcino, Tuscany. The estate was established in 2000 and is now managed by Carlo and his daughter Bianca.

Following fermentation, the wine matures for twelve months, half in 500- and 2,500-litre oak casks and half in cocciopesto amphorae, then receives a further six months of bottle aging before release. Due to Consorzio regulations for Brunello di Montalcino, production beyond 250 cases of Brunello must be declassified and bottled as Toscana Rosso IGT, making La Quinta a declassified Brunello-quality Sangiovese.

The wine is medium-dense with a bright ruby red color and subtle garnet shimmer. On the nose it presents crunchy cherry fruit, pomegranate, and cloves. The 2022 vintage received an Editor's Choice from Wine Enthusiast and a Gold Medal at the 2023 Decanter World Wine Awards.
