Shui Jing Fang Wellbay Dragon Edition Baijiu is a premium Chinese spirit in the strong aroma (nong xiang) style, produced by the historic Shui Jing Fang distillery in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. The name "Shui Jing Fang" means "the distillery by the well," a reference to the founding well dug by Master Wang in 1408, with "Wellbay" honoring this same origin. The original Shui Jing Distillery is recognized as the oldest continuously operating Baijiu distillery in China, and sold in a case of 4 x 1.0L bottles at Costco.

In 1998, during renovations on Shui Jing Street, workers unearthed the ancient distillery site. The Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University excavated the ancient cellars and extracted bio-cultures that now form part of the qu (fermentation agent) used in every bottle of Shui Jing Fang produced today. The Dragon Edition celebrates this storied legacy with distinctive packaging evoking power, prestige, and celestial symbolism in Chinese culture.

On the nose, this baijiu offers a highly floral and perfumed aroma with notes of pineapple, guava, and kiwi fruit. The mid-palate develops smoky complexity alongside tropical fruits, white flowers, and hints of herbs. Bottled at 53% ABV, it is powerful and complex while remaining true to the nong xiang style's hallmark elegance.
