Moshin Vineyards Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is a hand-crafted Pinot Noir from one of the Russian River Valley's most respected small-production wineries. Founded by winemaker Rick Moshin, Moshin Vineyards specializes in estate-grown Pinot Noir sourced from premium Sonoma County vineyards, with this bottling drawing fruit from the wind-chilled Petaluma Gap region of the Sonoma Coast Appellation.
This Pinot Noir is characterized by aromas of spice, earth, and hints of toasty oak. On the palate it delivers a rich, silky mouthfeel with ripe cherries and blackberries, brightened by a long, elegant finish. The cool maritime influence of the Sonoma Coast yields naturally lower alcohol and firm acidity, making it an excellent food pairing partner with salmon, duck, mushroom dishes, and charcuterie.
Moshin Vineyards is located in the heart of the Russian River Valley, approximately 10 miles southwest of Healdsburg, California, and is known for its small-lot, artisanal winemaking approach. The wine is sold in a standard 750ML bottle and is available at Costco in a case pack of 12.
