Bardstown Bourbon Company Collaborative Series Silver Oak is a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys finished in Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. This limited-edition collaboration pairs Bardstown Bourbon Company with Silver Oak, the acclaimed Napa Valley winery known for its premium Cabernet Sauvignon aged exclusively in American oak.

The blend brings together six distinct bourbons from five states, ranging in age from 9 to 14 years. The composition includes 25% Kentucky 14-year, 23% Tennessee 12-year, 22% Kentucky 10-year, 15% Indiana 9-year, 10% Kentucky 10-year, and 5% Georgia 12-year bourbon. After blending, the whiskey was finished for 17 months in ex-Silver Oak Cabernet barrels and bottled at 108 proof (54% ABV).

Tasting notes feature layers of raspberry, black cherry, toffee, roasted nuts, and charred oak on the nose. The palate delivers dark cherry, blackberry, strawberry, seasoned oak, and toffee with a nutty undertone. The finish is marked by tobacco, dark berries, and burnt brown sugar with a lingering dryness.
