Built for durability, the Reach Rugged carries an IP68 water and dust resistance rating — the highest available for hearing aids — allowing submersion in up to 2 meters of water for 30 minutes. It is also drop-resistant from up to 6 feet and features a scratch-resistant housing, making it ideal for users who spend time outdoors or in physically demanding settings.

The lithium-ion rechargeable battery delivers up to 39 hours of use per charge (34 hours with streaming), with a full recharge completing in 3 to 4 hours. The hearing aids support Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast, enabling direct audio streaming from iOS and Android smartphones, as well as hands-free calling on iPhones.

Sound processing is powered by Rexton's multi-track technology across 48 channels and 6 listening programs, with Speech Preservation Technology, advanced directional microphone control, echo reduction, and wind noise management. A telecoil is included for compatibility with hearing loop systems.
