Scarecrow Winery's 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is a coveted Napa Valley cult wine sourced entirely from the J.J. Cohn Estate in the Rutherford AVA. This 1.5L magnum format showcases 100% estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon from one of Napa's most celebrated and sought-after producers.

The wine opens with aromas of warm cassis, baked plums, black raspberries, and boysenberries, with accents of dried mint, pencil shavings, fragrant soil, and a waft of cast iron. Full-bodied with a solid backbone of ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, the palate delivers remarkable richness and opulence while remaining lively and layered. Notes of crème de cassis, flowery incense, spice box, chocolate, and flowers round out the complex profile, finishing long and mineral-laced. Rated RP97 by Robert Parker and JD97+ by Jeb Dunnuck.
