Joto "The Blue One" is a Junmai Nigori sake crafted at the Nakao Brewery in Hiroshima, Japan. Founded in 1871 and now managed by its 6th generation, Nakao Brewery has pioneered revolutionary brewing techniques and is widely celebrated in the sake industry. This sake scored 94 Points at the World Sake Challenge.

Unlike most nigoris, which tend to be syrupy sweet, Joto Nigori shows exceptional depth and earthy complexity. Bright and lively with fresh tropical aromas on the nose, it is creamy and almost chewy on the palate, with milky coconut fruit notes balanced by a dry, earthy finish. Brewed from mostly Shinsenbon rice polished to 65% (semaibuai), with a Nihonshudo (SMV) of -3 and Yeast #10, it is pressed using the Yabuta method for clean, consistent expression.

Serve well chilled. Pairs beautifully with spicy Asian cuisines including Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian curries, and stands up equally well to burgers and steaks. Available in a convenient single-serve 300 ml bottle.
