GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Spanish Virgin Oak is a limited-release Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from The GlenAllachie Distillery in Aberlour, Scotland. Part of GlenAllachie's Virgin Oak Series (Batch 3), this expression is double distilled in copper pot stills from 100% malted barley and aged 10 years, primarily in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for 18 months in new Spanish oak hogsheads.

The Spanish oak was sourced from the forests of the Cantabrian Mountains in the Galicia and Asturias regions of Spain, where the cool, humid climate produces exceptional timber. The oak was air-dried for approximately 18 months and then toasted and charred to a medium level. This secondary aging in virgin casks imparts rich flavors of dried fruits, maraschino cherries, and hints of ginger.

The nose presents orchard fruits, baking spices, and sticky toffee pudding with notes of brown sugar, glazed cherries, and citrus. On the palate, chocolate, coffee, and heather honey give way to pepper, ginger, and molasses, with a finish of banana and sultana raisin. The whisky has a warming mahogany hue with no added coloring, is non-chill filtered, and bottled at 48% ABV. This is a limited US release of only 1,200 bottles, hand-selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker.
