Crafted in Mexico's Jalisco Highlands from 100% Blue Weber Agave harvested at 6,500 feet above sea level, this expression is aged for a minimum of 24 months to achieve its signature depth and complexity. It is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a 750ml format.

The bottle features a striking limited-edition design that artfully merges the Chinese Zodiac Snake with the Aztec feathered serpent, rendered in vibrant red with gold accents and presented in a collector's box adorned with serpent artwork. It is the first-ever Don Julio 1942 release created to honor the Lunar New Year, symbolizing transformation, wisdom, and prosperity.

On the nose, the tequila opens with rich caramel and chocolate. The palate delivers warm oak, vanilla, and roasted agave, leading to a lingering finish of oak and rich vanilla.
