Domaine de la Vougeraie Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot Clos de la Chapelle Premier Cru is a white Burgundy made from 100% Chardonnay. This wine comes from a walled monopole vineyard acquired by the Boisset family from the Duc de Magenta, with 2.87 of the 3.66 hectares planted to Chardonnay. The 2021 vintage marks the inaugural release from this prestigious site.

The nose offers wonderfully ripe, rich citrus fruit and a touch of peach, accompanied by a hint of vanilla oak. The palate is powerful and dense with a firm textural grip, notes of orange peel, and a spicy, smoky oak finish. Medium-bodied and dry at 13% ABV, this wine drinks well from 2024 through 2035. Critics have scored it highly, with Jasper Morris MW rating it 92–95/100 and Allen Meadows 90–93/100.

Domaine de la Vougeraie is one of Burgundy's leading estates with nearly 40 hectares across over 30 appellations, including six grand crus. All premier and grand cru vineyards are farmed biodynamically with carefully limited yields.
